Every adoption opens up space for us to rescue another animal in need. Here’s how to bring one home.
How Adoption Works
- Apply. Submit our adoption application telling us about your home and what you’re looking for.
- Approval. Applications are typically reviewed within about 24 hours.
- Meet. Arrange a meet-and-greet with your potential new family member.
- Sign. Complete and sign the adoption contract.
- Take them home. Welcome your new furever family member!
Meeting Our Animals
Because our animals are in foster and home-based care, all meet-and-greets are scheduled in advance. Dog meetings can be arranged by appointment; our cats are often shy and hide when visitors come, so cat meetings are arranged case by case.

Adoption Fees
Because every animal’s needs are different, we don’t charge a single flat fee. An adoption fee reflects things like the animal’s age, any medical care they’ve needed, and how they came to us — a pre-vetted transfer versus an intake that needed full medical work — and fees are reduced the longer an animal has been waiting for a home.
Every fee goes toward the vaccinations, spay/neuter, and veterinary care each animal receives, and all our animals are up to date on their age-appropriate vetting before adoption. For the current fee on a specific animal — and exactly what’s included — just reach out and we’ll walk you through it.
